Trees are pretty.

Trees increase economic stability by attracting business and customers to communities.

Trees increase home property values.

Trees aid in traffic control, they separate pedestrians and vehicles, providing safer walking conditions.

Trees pretty enhance tourism by adding beauty and softening the harshness of our environment.

Trees are essential to our health and the health of our environment.

Trees are a critical part of the urban ecosystem.  They provide habitat for many species of birds, fish, and mammals and other wildlife, large and small.

Trees save energy by reducing the need for cooling and heating.

Trees reduce storm water run-off and erosion management costs by intercepting, storing, and using rainfall.

Trees have a positive effect on people - they make us feel happy and connected with nature, they reduce stress, they help us recover from illness faster, and they restore our spirits.
